Robbinsville NJ Municipal Court DWI Defense Lawyers

The Robbinsville Township Police Department was active last week, charging two different individuals with among other things, driving while intoxicated. The first to get charged with a thirty-five year old man from Monroe Township. He was initially pulled over on Route 130 for failing to maintain his lane. However, a further investigation by the officers determined that he was driving while intoxicated. To make matters worse, when the Defendant was taken to the Robbinsville Police Station to submit a breath sample, he refused to provide one. So, the Defendant was not only charged with driving while intoxicated but refusal to submit a breath sample, careless driving, driving with no insurance and driving with no registration. Provided this is the Defendant’s first DUI related incident, he will be facing a potential seven to twelve month loss of license on the refusing to submit a breath sample charge, plus a three month loss of license on the driving while intoxicated offense. He was released pursuant to John’s Law on a summons to appear in the Robbinsville Municipal Court to answer for the charges.

The second person to get arrest in Robbinsville for driving under the influence was a fifty-six year old woman from Hamilton Township. She was originally pulled over for reckless driving on Route 33 but a subsequent investigation revealed that she too was driving under the influence. She was charged with DWI as well as reckless driving. Provided this is her first offense and that their her BAC was over .10%, she will be facing anywhere from a seven to twelve month loss of license.
