DWI Checkpoint in Bradley Beach, New Jersey

The Monmouth County DWI task force and Bradley Beach Police Department have announced that there will be a driving while intoxicated (DWI) checkpoint this weekend in the Borough. According to the reports released at this point in time the DWI checkpoint will begin on Friday at 10pm and will go until 2am. The checkpoint will be conducted on Route 71 South in Bradley Beach. According to the chief of Police and the lead coordinator of the Monmouth County DWI task force anyone suspected of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be pulled into the Rain Tunnel Car Wash parking lot and given the standardized field sobriety tests. The standardized field sobriety tests are one of the two key pieces of evidence used in a DWI prosecution.
