When the officers arrived on scene they quickly noticed a potential suspect who matched the description given. When the suspect noticed the officers approaching he fled on scene. The officers were finally able to apprehend the suspect when they cornered him in an abandoned warehouse.\u00a0The suspect turned about to be a forty-one year old male from the\u00a0City of Trenton. During the arrest, the officer uncovered\u00a0fifteen grams of crack cocaine, thirty grams of marijuana, $551 in cash and a bag of hollow-point bullets. It does not appear based on the reports that a handgun was actually uncovered. Unfortunately for the Defendant, things did not end their. When the officers were attempting to place the Defendant into the police car, he kicked one of the officers in the chest. So at the end of the day the Defendant was charged with\u00a0possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute,\u00a0possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, unlawful possession of hallow point bullets,\u00a0resisting arrest,\u00a0aggravated assault on a police officer\u00a0and\u00a0trespassing.Detention Hearing Lawyers in Mercer County NJIt is unclear at this point in time whether the Mercer County Prosecutor\u2019s Office filed for a Detention Hearing.
