Based on the inherent suspicious nature, the officer decided to approach the Defendant and investigate. During the investigation, the officer uncovered a quantity marijuana, drug paraphernalia as well as an open bottle of alcohol. Based on their findings, the Defendant was charged with the following offenses:Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams;Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle;Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle;Underage Possession of Alcohol;Loitering in a Park After Hours.The Defendant was taken to the Bridgewater Police Department to be processed. Once processing was complete, the Defendant was released upon a summons to appear in the\u00a0Bridgewater Municipal Court\u00a0for his first appearance. Since these are all disorderly persons offenses, which is New Jersey\u2019s version of a misdemeanor, all of the charges will be litigated in the Bridgewater Municipal Court.
