Based on the investigation that was conducted on scene, presumably his performance on the standardized field sobriety tests (SFST), the individual was placed under arrest and brought back to the Bridgewater Police Department in order to submit a breath sample into the Alcotest Machine. The Alcotest Machine is the device that New Jersey police departments use to determine what an individual\u2019s blood alcohol content is.\u00a0 Based on those results, the individual was formally charged with several traffic summons, including driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated in a school zone and one criminal complaint for\u00a0possession of drug paraphernalia.Where Do I go to Court for a DWI In Bridgewater NJ?Since the criminal offense is considered a\u00a0disorderly persons offense, which is New Jersey\u2019s version of a misdemeanor, all of the offenses will be transferred to the Bridgewater Municipal Court for disposition.
