It appears that all of the twenty-two vehicles burglarized were unlocked at the time of the incidents. The suspects basically took whatever they could get their hands on, including sunglasses, electronics, wallets and purses. If the suspects are ever apprehended they will most likely be charged with\u00a0burglary in the third degree,\u00a0theft in the third degree,\u00a0trespassing and criminal mischief, if anything was damaged.\u00a0At this point in time the Ewing Police Department is actively investigating the case and is asking for anyone with any information to please come forward, including anyone who may have home surveillance footage.Car Burglary Lawyers in Ewing NJThese are serious criminal charges and if the suspects are ever apprehended, they will most likely be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This is the second time in the last month that Mercer County has had to deal with an overnight rash of car burglaries. The other incident took place in Princeton back in July of this year. A burglary of this nature will be considered a third degree felony. Anyone convicted of a third degree felony in New Jersey will he facing up to five years in a prison, a fine up to $15,000 and a felony criminal record.
